DAY CARE CENTERS & TUTION CENTERS
There are about 4 Tution centers in Tamilnadu that Taprish
supports which are located in Sivangangai & Dharapuram
in Erode.
1.
DAY CARE CENTERS - Children between
the age of 2 to 5 years are encouraged to learn by allowing
their mothers to go for work and Taprish has teachers
who take care of these children and provides them food
at noon. This encourages children to go to neighboring
govt schools when they are 6 years. Thus helping them
promote the need for schooling, Taprish obtains admission
from neighboring schools.
2.
TUTION CENTERS - Teachers & Social
workers are appointed in the evenings to take care of
Poor children between 4 and 7 pm after school in assisting
them to do their homeworks and other school activities.
This helps and encourages them to do their day to day
studies. Parents cannot involve them in small child labor
chores like picking up firewoods from the neighboring
jungle, washing vessels in others homes etc.
